How do we collect this information and obtain your consent?

We collect information from customers during the booking (or option) process, or during the inquiry process where required, via our sales channels, such as our website booking form, our sales contact c(via e-mail or telephone), through on-line evaluations submitted by you, via on-line or other entry ballot for any contests, competitions, or sweepstakes. This information is provided by you or on your behalf by someone you have authorized to make or inquire about a booking. We obtain consent by:

• Written permission via mail, email , or online booking form.

• Verbal permission
 

How is your Personal Information Protected?

The security and integrity of your Personal Information is important to us. All personal information is stored in secure databases at secure addresses to prevent unauthorized access. Passwords, encryption devices and firewalls protect these databases. Please note however that no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. While we take all steps to ensure the safety of your data, we cannot ensure the security of information you transmit to us over the Internet.

Access to your personal and private information is limited to: authorized employees, of Haiti Nou La , and any of the third-party suppliers who require your information to provide the travel or other services you have requested. We keep our employees and our third party suppliers and other partners informed about our policies and procedures and require strict compliance with this Policy in order to ensure your information remains protected. Unauthorized access and/or disclosure of client information are strictly prohibited.

DO YOU OFFER REFUNDS?

*Please note that all purchases are non-refundable. Please try to make sure that you can attend the Experience before booking it.*

We strongly encourage you to purchase comprehensive cancel for any reason insurance (CFAR) within 10 days of your purchase, so that you'll be able to recover your investment from your insurance provider, should you need to cancel. This website provides a variety of comprehensive cancel for any reason insurance options. Many CFAR insurance plans include medical insurance.

WHAT HAPPENS TO MY DEPOSIT IF I CAN NO LONGER MAKE IT?

Because we do not provide refunds, any deposit made with our payment plans will NOT BE REFUNDED . As mentioned before, if you can no longer attend please contact us as soon as possible, find a replacement (sell your spot to someone else) and let us know because we will need their names to be registered instead of yours. Also, if you do not believe that you will find a replacement on time, please purchase a travel insurance as mentioned above, just in case, so you can recover your payment from the insurance company.

Haiti Nou La Experiences are crafted with our diverse audience in mind. However, there are few characteristics that we think all participants should have:

Intellectual curiosity – We will be exploring a new land, and we want all of our participants to immerse themselves and try to learn as much as possible.

A sense of adventure – Haiti Nou La aims to push you out of your comfort zone; the ideal participant will embrace this challenge with open arms.

Personable – Our group experiences will put you in touch with new people; we hope that you will connect with each other and potentially form friendships.

 

DO I BOOK MY OWN FLIGHT?

You are responsible for booking your own flight to your Haiti Nou La destination. Although our trip prices do not include international flights to and from the start/end cities, it does include transportation while on your experience, accommodations, most meals, all activities listed on the itinerary, an accompanying photographer (when listed) and tons of inclusions.

 

WILL I HAVE A ROOMMATE?

Yes.

 

WHAT IF I DON’T WANT TO SHARE A ROOM WITH A SOMEONE?

For an additional fee, we can provide you with a room for yourself.

 

CAN I INVITE A FRIEND?

Yes!

 

WHO WILL BE MY POINT OF CONTACT AFTER BOOKING?

We have a dedicated customer service specialist who will assist you with all of your needs. We will respond to your inquiry within 24 hours. In addition to that, you’ll receive frequent email communication and other opportunities to connect with your experience cohort in the months leading up to your trip.

 

DO I NEED A VISA TO TRAVEL TO HAITI?

No

 

HOW DOES THE PAYMENT PLAN OPTION WORK?

When you purchase a trip using a payment plan, a one-time deposit is due at purchase. Once a month, on the same numerical date of purchase, you will receive an email asking you to make an additional payment. A service fee of 6% - 12% is applied to all payment plans.

 

CAN HAITI NOU LA PLAN A TRIP FOR MY LARGE GROUP OF FRIENDS?

WHY ARE THE PRICES DIFFERENT FROM THE LAST LAUNCH? WHY ARE THEY INCREASING?

Prices of our experiences are variable and seasonal, so they do change according to time of year, currency fluctuations and vendor pricing.
